Minister's Message 30th July
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Last Sunday we had the story of Jacob. When Jacob was running from his family he was surprised to meet God in a dream. Surprised because it seemed like he was running from his family and from God. Jacob discovered that wherever he went, God was there.
This week in our Romans passage we are told that nothing can separate us from the love of God. We cannot run from it and we cannot hide from it. All we need to do is choose to accept it.
God’s love is an inescapable free gift.
