Church Services on hold

As a result of an Elders meeting last night, and in light of strong recommendations from the Uniting Church Synod, we have made the decision to stop gathering for services in the church building while the COVID-19 situation remains an issue.

This is for the safety of our church community, many of which fall into the 'at-risk' category, and for the wider community as well.

Instead, we will record our services each week and post them on Sunday mornings at 9am. We encourage you to jump online individually or with your family, and listen to them at this time. Some people may even consider meeting with a few close friends to worship together.

After the recording, we will set up a group chat that can be dialled into via Zoom (we will provide instructions and support for this). This will be a half hour session led by Richard, to connect with each other and discuss the service.

As we're sure you can appreciate, this is new territory for everyone, and it will take a lot of adjusting and getting used to. It is likely that our strategy evolves over time to tailor what works best for our community.

We will continue to communicate frequently via Facebook & email, and will issue our News Sheet each Thursday with information on what to expect the following week.

We look forward to connecting and worshiping with you in new and creative ways over this time!
