Children are very welcome at Terrigal Uniting Church and we try our best to include them in as many activities as possible.

Baptism or Thanksgiving services can also be arranged.

We are hoping to have a Children and Family worker soon to assist in our ministry to children and their families.

During the 9.45am service the children are included with a children’s talk + music at the beginning of the service. Creche is available then for the under 3’s and Kids Alive (Kids’ Church) for those 3 -15 years old.  There are usually Clipboards available for them to colour in if you prefer to keep them in the service with you. There are also boxes of toys for toddlers in a couple of places around the church to help you keep them occupied.

Our Saturday evening service is another possible place where primary age children may feel at home as it is more informal.

We have a soundproof “Cry room” for restless toddlers where parents can continue to hear the service. This is accessed either through the worship area near the musicians, or alternatively via the main foyer to the left of the entry doors.

One of our Bible study groups is geared to Young Mums and has babysitting included – this is twice per month on Tuesday mornings.

We also play an active role in teaching Scripture at a number of our local Primary schools.

Playgroups meet here on Wednesday and Friday mornings to cater for parents with babies and pre-schoolers.
